Go to Pussy by leaving the N90 at Feissons/Isère, cross Necuday and park at Les Foyères (not really a parking area, but space can be found along the road). Alternatively, you can drive beyond the end of the tarmac road (track in poor condition in 2023, better to have a high-clearance or 4x4 vehicle) and park at the second bend of the track (1190 m). Option 1: After Les Foyères, take the track then the trail that climbs via La Grande Thuile (marked "la tuile" on IGN maps) and winds through the forest to a junction marked "montagne d'en haut or montagne d'en bas". Option 2: After Les Foyères, take the path or forest road to Les Charmettes, then leave this new forest road for a path that climbs and crosses the forest road again before following the high-voltage power line. Follow it north along the path that passes underneath. The chalet, located under the power line, will eventually come into view.
Valid as of 22/10/2023: - The door is located on the north side of the building - Heating: wood-burning stove/cooker - One table, 2 benches, 4 chairs - Dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, frying pans, a kettle and a large pot - In 2014, an axe and a saw (which no longer cuts much) - In 2014, lighting was provided by a neon light powered by a car battery (not checked in 2023, doubt remains) - Water available at [->4524] The roof appears to have been redone around 2016 and provides good insulation on the upper floor, which has 11 mattresses, 6 bed bases and some blankets
