Upon arrival at around 4100 m, a rocky outcrop emerges from the ice on the right (when ascending), topped by a statue about 3 meters high, useful for orientation. The shelter is located in a hollow of the rock a few meters below. No stove, but a gas cooker is usually available. Caution! High mountain equipment is essential, including a sleeping bag suitable for polar temperatures.
